Center of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain To Be Set Up in Sukkur

Sindh Government has planned to set up a Center of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain at IBA Sukkur.

Rs. 3.0 billion has been allocated by Sindh Govt in its budget for FY 2019-20.Moreover, the Sindh government is also planning to several initiatives for higher education,non-development budget from Rs. 9.529 billion in the year 2018-19 to Rs. 10.585 billion in the next financial year 2019-20 for establishing Thar Institute of Technology, which will be termed as the NED Campus of Tharparkar, and the Sindh University Campus in Badin and Mirpurkhas

Non-development budget for colleges from Rs. 15.777 billion in the year 2018-19 to Rs. 18.094 billion in the next financial year 2019-20. On the development side, Rs. 4 billion has been allocated in ADP 2019-20.

Major improvement initiatives inside the College Education Department for ADP 2019-20 encompass 17 new degree colleges for Karachi (Korangi, Malir, West), Hyderabad, Umerkot, Sukkur, Jamshoro, Shikarpur, Jacobabad and in Sanghar.

The allocation for school schooling has been accelerated within the non-development budget from Rs. 170.832 billion inside the year 2018-19 billion to Rs. 178.618 billion for the next economic year 2019-20. On the improvement aspect, price range of Rs. 15.15 billion had been allocated in ADP 2019-20.

The School Education portfolio has been allocated Rs. 15.15 billion for 279 schemes (188 on-going and 91 new schemes).
