Pakistan Post will soon introduce the ATM service at its post offices. The general director of the postal services company, Dr. Naseer Ahmad Khan, made the announcement on Tuesday.
While speaking at a ceremony held to distribute motorcycles among postmen, the CEO said he took the step to integrate the organization with modern needs.
The Postmaster General Hafiz Zafar Ali Malik, the Postmaster General Ijaz Ahmed Khokhar, the Postmaster Aqleem Hussain also attended the function.
DG Pakistan Post said the provision of motorcycles to postmen will continue and accelerate in the coming months.
He said the organization will distribute motorcycles among all mail carriers across the country to improve the accuracy, speed and quality of postal services.
He said the government in office was determined to modernize the national postal service.
Speaking of the organization’s accomplishments over the past year, Dr. Naseer said the national postal service has successfully expanded its services in more than 150 countries around the world.
